Do I need a professional to install my oven?
For our Classic Woodfire and Artisan Pro models, professional installation is recommended due to their weight and the need for a proper foundation. These models typically require concrete slabs and may need to comply with local building codes.
Our Portable Flame model requires no installation and can be placed on any stable, heat-resistant surface. It comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box.
We offer installation services in select regions, and can recommend certified installers for customers outside our service areas.
What kind of foundation do I need for my oven?
For permanent installations, we recommend a reinforced concrete slab that extends at least 6 inches beyond the footprint of the oven in all directions. The slab should be at least 4-6 inches thick and properly cured before installation.
Alternatively, our ovens can be installed on existing stone or concrete patios if they meet weight capacity requirements. For specific foundation recommendations based on your model and location, please consult with our installation team.
What can I cook in a woodfire oven besides pizza?
While our ovens excel at making perfect pizzas, they're incredibly versatile cooking tools. Here are just a few things you can cook:

These times can vary slightly based on ambient temperature, fuel quality, and other conditions.
How do I clean and maintain my woodfire oven?
Regular maintenance is simple:
- After each use, allow the oven to cool completely.
- Remove ash and debris using a brass brush and metal scoop (avoid steel brushes as they can damage the cooking surface).
- For tough spots, use a damp cloth once the oven is cool.
- Periodically check the exterior and chimney for any signs of wear or damage.
We recommend a deep clean every 3-6 months depending on usage. Our maintenance kit includes all the tools needed for proper care of your oven.
Do I need to cover my oven when not in use?
Yes, we strongly recommend using a weather-resistant cover when the oven is not in use. While our ovens are built to withstand outdoor conditions, a cover provides additional protection against severe weather, UV exposure, and debris.
Each of our models has a custom-fitted cover available as an accessory. These covers are made from durable, waterproof materials designed to extend the life and maintain the appearance of your oven.
